Biggest Loser Home Challenge

Well, here we are in 2012 and I'm certain I am not the only person vowing to "get in shape and lose weight" this year! In fact....I know I am not the only one. Welcome to the Biggest Loser Home Challenge that myself and a few family members are involved in.

How it Works:

Every member pays $20.00 to participate in this 3-month challenge. We all provide our starting weight and, at the end of each week, we all tell what our pounds or percentage lost was. At the end of the 3 months whoever has the highest overal percentage lost will be the Biggest Loser Home Challenge winner and will receive the all the money. For me....losing the weight I have set for myself to lose is the ultimate prize...the money is just a bonus!

Each week I will be posting my pounds and percentage lost (or gained if that so shall happen) so that you can all follow along and share in my success or encourage me in the times I may have "fallen off the wagon". We are only human and I accept the fact that I will falter from time-to-time, but, I must remind myself of this and use my downfalls as a way to push myself harder to keep going!

I will also share healthy recipes and tips with you all and encourage my followers to do the same. Please, if you have a healthy meal that you just HAVE TO share....then please do so! Any motivation and guidance to myself, and others, will be welcomed with open arms.

Thank you all in advance for following me, pushing me to achieve my goals and for being my "silent conscience".

  2. Thank you and good luck to you as well! Even if your age and health issues are working against you...just remember you can do anything you put your mind to! Don't worry about trying to go full force at a gym. Just going for a walk or taking the stairs (where possible) are steps in the right direction :-)
